So it is pay day this Friday, praise the lord. Those 5 week months are killer and with this in mind I can feel a little treat yo’ self splurge coming on. We deserve it! And what better way to feel those spring vibes with the satisfaction that comes from a little splurge. It may come as no surprise to most of you, that I adore shoes. They are my thing, those and handbags I have a little weakness for. I have always loved shoes and how they can absolutely transform any daytime outfit to something fabulous or an all black outfit to something really chic. Below are my top picks for injecting a little spring in your step, everything from casual to classy and some are transitional types which will see you through to summer and beyond, Enjoy.
The spring trainers. First up are these pair of trainers, I adore them. Usually trainers are my go too footwear item of choice and I have a lot of darker colours that I would have worn throughout autumn/ winter, but these I think are just gorgeous for Spring. This particular range are super comfortable also and can be purchased here.
The Mule. This season mules are everywhere, from designer to high street every store has a take on them. I personally wasn’t sure about them were I first spotted this trend but these are so fab. I think paired with a distressed loose boyfriend style denim and a simple white tea and biker this pair could look so cool.
The Espadrille. This style of shoe I have been wearing every spring/ summer since I was 16. Super comfortable and available in a variation of heel lengths. This style I think are so gorgeous and would be fab with a tulle skirt and a white/ black t-shirt or shirt. I love them.
The Loafer. The new plimsoll. Okay so lets face it you are not going to be as mobile or able to sprint after the kids in these. BUT you will look so cool. The loafer are perfect for pairing with shorts or skirts and denims. These pair caught my eye straight away. An all rounder that would go with lots.
The block heel. A staple wardrobe piece at this stage. Like the wedge, I cannot see this trend going anywhere. In darker colours and prints, I usually think that that this style can look quite bulky however, in this style I think they are so cool. This metallic pair are very trendy and paired with a shirt and denims I think this could look really gorgeous or similar with a beautiful free for an upcoming event.
The flat espadrille. This style is definitely one of my favourites. They are so comfortable on and really feel quite secure on your feet. So they are perfect for those days when you need to run around town or after the kids and still look very fashionable.
The sandal. My favourite heel for occasions and my go two for nights out. This particular style and colour are gorgeous for spring and really flattering on. Especially because of the straps and heel height, these pair would really elongate your leg and could be styled with anything!
Hope you enjoyed this little spring picks’ fashion post, Have a great week!
